Filled online repeat prescription form..told
Made sure I gave the practice ample time to process my prescription request, a week and half. After said time went to docs only to be told "we haven't received it". This has happened numerous times. Either the NHS app is crap or their system is. Bloody annoying.
Filled an online form out 1 week ago. No call
Submitted online form. Q week later still awaiting a call back from a GP. Called today..5th in queue at 11.20am, no call back by 12.05. Still waiting.
Doctors fine when you can see them.
I have not had a long term review finalised for three years. Last one cancelled twice. Then find that I have been marked "did not attend".
No service.
No point trying to make an appointment, the carefully crafted Patient Avoidance Strategy sees to that. Hospital consultants do all the GP work for them .
Very poor
After a 45 minute wait on the phone I was told I couldn't get an appointment until the form was filled in by the receptionist which took a further 15 minutes & someone would contact me if they thought I needed a appointment. I found this invasive as why should you have to tell a receptionist your personal problem that you want to discuss with a GP not them. I have intermittent internet coverage hence phoning. Had another illness & I managed to get internet coverage to fill form in at the weekend only to find the site is disabled again till Monday morning 7am! Surgery is not taking into account those that don't have internet on their phones or at home.
Excellent service first class care .
I have had a lot of of medical issues and all the staff have been excellent while trying to keep everyone safe and well over this horrible time. Wonderful thank you

Waiting in a queue on the phone for 30 mins then getting cut off. Online form not always available Very very poor service.
Washing your hands of the elderly
This is more about the Stamford Bridge surgery than the Strensall one in fact it's probably more about My Health than either surgeries. First of all I see that a patient is complaining about having to use other surgeries rather than their local one it's the same for those of us living in Stamford Bridge. It's so difficult now to get an appointment at our local surgery, how often I wonder are patients travelling to Strensall surgery passing patients from Strensall going to Stamford Bridge surgery. It's such a ludicrous situation and makes life difficult for many people and puts more cars on the road. I am sure with a better system in place this does not need to happen. Secondly this is about my father, after travelling to Strensall surgery for an ECG was told by a concerned paramedic that he must make an immediate appointment with the doctor which he tried to do once he got back home with the Stamford Bridge surgery. He was told there were no appointments available and if he has any chest pains to dial 999... marvellous...it's almost as if he has to wait to be in emergency situation before anything can or will be done. It seems to me that if you are elderly then they have washed their hands of you and couldn't care less, it's very depressing and deeply frustrating. I know things are difficult at the moment but the last time my father was at the (surprise surprise) Stamford Bridge surgery he sat there waiting for 45 minutes in an empty waiting room!!!
No doctors available, seems more of a money making machine.
Unable to speak to doctors or managers. Patient appointments only at surgery miles away. Cancelled appointment repeatedly. Waited a week for a repeat prescription and are only interested at making money out of its patients. Example of business taking over our NHS at it's worst.
Poor administration of repeat prescription
Request to reduce medication ignored in on-line repeat medication request resulting in extra administration, extra time of doctors and waste of medicines issued by pharmacy. Put down by surgery to unfamiliarity with procedures introduced by VOY CCG which create extra burdens for staff. New procedures designed to reduce NHS waste clearly not working.
Ridiculous waiting times, poor standard care
Waits for urgent telephone appointments often more than 10 days, a months wait for an appointment. Urgent daily appointments that do not deal with urgent changes in medication from hospitals leading to clinically adverse outcomes, no continuity of care, prescribing errors, realistically a weeks wait for repeat prescriptions, no choose and book offered. Burnt out and often rude GPS though two great ones. Reception staff are nice however.

long waits for critical accute medication
I have recently and a family member have both got on going serious acute health conditions, my family member is over 70 and on specific medication as issued by a specialist. There have been wait times for such important medication of more than two weeks, at one point and even as I write this , the hospital issued medication for the older family member has yet to be issued , the family member has a serious acute condition and has no medication , nor have I , the service leads much to be desired and the practice procedures appear NOT to be followed . I am very disappointed with this situation.
Very good. Professional and responsive.
Called for appointment. Needed evenings due to work. Phone answered quickly, offered appointment at any practice within group. Sorted within a few days. Surprisingly, I needed a CT scan and that can be done within the practice too. Saved a time consuming and expensive trip to hospital.
