York Carers Centre runs 3 carers hubs - a chance for carers to get together in local community. Young Carers service are amazing
My child started joining in the young carers sessions on Zoom during lockdown. They can take a while to settle in to new groups, and find their voice, but the young carers workers have made them feel so welcome and part of the group after just a few sessions, and never having met any of them face to face. They really look forward to the sessions now which are fun, and creative. The staff make sure that everything is provided for the sessions, eg craft supplies. Thank you for what you are doing for our young carers.
